We are excited to announce that from now on, your Workforce Management Software system admins can sign in with your organization’s existing channels – such as Microsoft or Google via Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
By using Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD), your system admins can easily log in to the platform instead of using their mobile phone number, email, or password.
How to Set Up SSO
Your Workforce Management Software system admins can now easily configure SSO by logging in to their admin dashboard with Active Directory Single sign-on (AD SSO).
You can set up SSO by taking the following steps:
- In your Workforce Management Software admin dashboard, go to General Settings, followed by Security, and then toggle on the SSO option.
- Log in to your Azure portal: https://portal.azure.com.
- Go to the Azure Active Directory button on the side menu. Select App Registrations, followed by the New Registration option.
- Under the Name section, and enter a name of your choosing.
- Make sure that only the Accounts option in your directory is selected.
- Under the Redirect URI section, select “web” as the platform and paste the URL found in the Workforce Management Software Security app tab.
- Select Register at the bottom.
At this point, you’ll be redirected to the registration screen of the app you just created. To finish configuring SSO, you will need to follow these final steps:
- Copy the Client ID from the registration screen and paste it into the Workforce Management Software Security SSO settings.
- Go to Certificates and Secrets on the left side bar and select the option to create a new secret.
- Create your new client secret and select how many months you want the secret to expire. Click add.
A new secret will be generated, which you can copy and paste into the Workforce Management Software Security SSO Settings. Please note that the first time you are setting up SSO, you will need to copy the client secret immediately, or it will be lost.
Once you are finished copying your client secret into the Workforce Management Software Security Settings, make sure to save your changes. And that’s it! Your SSO setup is now complete and you can start using it to log into your Workforce Management Software account.
